INTRO TO HVAC
Level: 1
This class provides BASIC information for people new to the field. Will cover safety, tools, terminology with a hands-on look at the equipment components.
Preventative Maintenance
Level: 2
This class provides information on the maintenance and upkeep of installed HVAC equipment to ensure reliable operation.
Heat Pumps
Level: 3
Students will receive more in-depth instruction on heat pump operation with an emphasis on controls, safeties, and sensors specific to heat pump systems.
Thermostat Wiring & Controls
Level: 3
The students will engage in hands-on instruction covering all aspects of low voltage wiring including contactors, thermostat, relay, sequencing function and troubleshooting.
Superheat & Subcooling
Level: 3
Students will gain an understanding of refrigeration circuits and how to use temperature and pressure to quickly and economically troubleshoot & repair residential systems.
HVAC for Property Managers
Level: ALL
This class provides an overview of a typical multi-family HVAC system and is geared just for managers. It includes cost-saving tips and how to identify red flag purchases as well as required records for EPA compliance.
